What’s On At Random Cafe

Here’s some of the events we have planned for 2026 so far…

Table Top Sale – 18th April – this will run until 25th April. There is a wide range of items for sale. There will be household items, accessories for pets, toys, clothes, ornaments and much more. Some items are new, and some are pre-loved. So if you have been missing car boot sales over the winter, this is the event for you. Entrance fee £1 per adult, children free. This will give you access to the sale until 25th April, just keep you ticket for admission later in the month.

Great Big Green Day – 6th June – After the success of last year’s event, we are holding our Garden Fete again this year. We will have stalls made with recycled materials, and fun games for all the family. There will be our summer raffle and the ever-popular tombola. More details coming soon.

Boat Trip £20 – 2nd August – One of our favourite days of the year. The relaxing boat trip down the Grand Union Canal with our friends at Waterways Experiences. Starting at Nash Mills, we take a slow journey through the countryside. You can bring a picnic or enjoy something from the fish and chip menu at an extra cost. Teas and coffee are included, but feel free to bring your favourite drink with you.

Beer tasting – 12th September – We are changing venue for our annual Beer Tasting. This year, we will be at The Pump House.

Pop the date in your diary. We will update you with more details soon.

Halloween – 31st October – We’ll be transforming our outdoor space with Halloween decorations, and we’ve planned free activities for children — complete with prizes for our little ghouls and ghosts.
Bring the family, enjoy the atmosphere, and join us for a frightfully fun community day. More details coming soon!

Craft Fair – 7th November – Calling all crafters, and shoppers too. We will be holding our annual craft fair at the Meriden Community Centre and are looking forward to a wonderful mix of stalls. Whether you want gifts for Christmas or a treat for yourself. There’s something for everyone. We will be holding a chocolate tombola, have hot food and drinks, cakes and snacks, and you can get your first tickets for our Christmas Hamper Raffle. Entry £1 per adult, children free.

We also have regular meetups…

Crafteroon Tea – 12 pm Every Thursday – Come along to our relaxed group of like-minded crafters. We have knitters, crocheters, beaders, and more. Bring along your current project or come along to have a chat and discuss ideas.

Reason to Read, Book Club – 2nd Saturday of the Month – It’s relaxed, welcoming, and open to everyone — whether you’ve finished the book, half‑read it, or just want to listen in with a cuppa.
